Three lucky fishers all landed nice 7'2" (2.2m) seven gill sharks weighing around 40 k's, caught early morning 25/9/04
Several others got away.

Our Fishing Reports are factual from people who actually fish the area. Unlike some fishing sites who just copy stuff that is weeks old and claim it as their own.

Thu 16 - 8 - 07 Wanda 90 Mile Beach	The surf remains shallow, preventing fishers from reaching deep water with their casts. sidewash and weed have been an added problem. Gannets and terns have been diving on bait fish.
Thu 16 - 8 - 07 Sharkman. 90 Mile Beach	10.00 am - No wind, sea calm but quite strong sidewash across the vast shallows. No fishers.
Wed 15 - 8- 07 1st car park Sharkman.	4.00 pm - Strong Easterly wind, bitterly cold, rough sea with some sidewash. waves washing a long way up the beach. one fisher trying hard, couldn't’t keep his line in the water.
Tue 14 - 8 - 07 1st car park Sharkman.	10.30 am - Slight South-Easterly breeze, water reasonably calm, the vast shallows and the beach with plenty of weed. No fishers.
Mon 13 - 8 - 07 1st car park Sharkman.	11.30 am - No wind, calm water with a lot of weed in the shallows and on the beach. No fishers.
Sun 12 - 8 - 07 1st car park Sharkman.	12.00 pm - Westerly wind increased areas of shallows and white water with some weed. Three fishers, one with a small tailor.
Sat 11 - 8 - 07 1st car park Sharkman.	11.30 am - Strong Westerly winds raising sand, some side wash. No evidence of any fishers.
Fri 10 - 8 - 07 1st car park Sharkman.	10.30 am - Strong Westerly winds, sea flat with slight sidewash. terns diving. No fishers.
Thu 9 - 8 - 07 Wanda 90 Mile Beach	Shallow water has made surf fishing difficult as reaching deep water has been beyond most fishers casting ability, also sidewash and some weed at times. Conditions are very slowly improving but catches are minimal with only the appearance of small spotty salmon.
Thu 9 - 8 - 07 1st car park Sharkman.	10.00 am - Westerly wind becoming strong, water calm and looking a bit clearer. Two fishers leaving, they had only caught tiny spotty salmon.
Wed 8 - 8 - 07 1st car park Sharkman.	11.30 am - Slight Westerly breeze, calm sea, channel has moved slightly closer. the only fisher had just arrived and immediately caught some small spotty salmon which he put back.
Tue 7 - 8 - 07 1st car park Sharkman.	9.30 am - No wind, sunny day, water calm but still very murky with some weed in the shallows. one fisher trying, but could not cast the long distance across the shallows to the deep water.
Mon 6 - 8 - 07 1st car park Sharkman.	10.30 am - Light westerly breeze water fairly calm but very murky, some sidewash across the shallows. No fishers.
Sun 5 - 8 - 07 1st car park Sharkman.	11.30 am - Similar conditions to yesterday. No fishers.
Sat 4 - 8 - 07 1st car park Sharkman.	11.00 am - Strong Westerly winds and sidewash, large areas of shallow water. Two fishers unsuccessfully trying multiple sinkers to stop their lines washing away.
Fri 3 - 8 - 07 1st car park Sharkman.	Report of a few small spotty salmon caught.
Thu 2 - 8 - 07 Wanda 90 Mile Beach	Poor surf fishing conditions this week as fishers cannot reach deep water owing to the extensive shallows. There has also been some sidewash and weed. Fishers who have given it a try have quickly given up.
